Its really a shame they decided to have the remaster version of this case instead of the original episodes. This was originally a three parter, but was condensed into a 1 hour special, so a good portion of this case is just missing (makes me wonder what the episodes 223 and 224 after this will be if they're not this case..?). Like I remember Gin and Vodka's names (fake names) being in the registry along with Haibara's, it's unfortunate that more details like that are missing. I could even tell the pace felt quicker than normal, and I was kinda lost for some of it. I wish they kept the original three episodes.
But, nonetheless, I still really like this episode. I mean it's a Heiji case and just a really good story in general, I'm kinda required to like it. Like the trick and the culprit and Kimie being the elder in disguise was really unexpected and makes me wonder how on earth these guys even figured it out.But honestly Kimie was really impressive like her makeup has to be almost Kaitou KID level. And standing on just her knees must've required some real strength. And that scene with Heiji and Kazuha was really good and suspenseful for this show. Makes you wonder HOW THEY GOT OUT OF THAT but whatever whatever... Left for the viewer to decide or something.

True the detail, and everything in her makeup, might as well even be compared to that of Kaito Kid's. Impressive, really.

I remember this episode distinctly, I couldn't stop thinking about it and it's what made me get back into Detective Conan. But I'd forgotten where I was so I ended up restarting at the begining, and this was really the only episode I ever actually remembered. So Haibara came to this island once? That's interesting, maybe it has something to do with APTX-4869? How clumsy, did, did she really just stab him? What's with people and stabbing Hattori in the hand? First Conan and now Kazuha.
